Located in a prime area of ​​the city of Lisbon, what will certainly be one of the leading restaurants in the capital is growing. The Doca da Marinha restaurant has the ATL – Turismo de Lisboa – Visitors & Convention Bureau as its client and is part of the riverfront rehabilitation process. This is a work that has the participation of renowned entities in different specialties, with the architectural design authored by Carilho da Graça Arquitetos, the structural design belongs to A2P Consult – Study and Projects, Lda and the inspection is led by Enpesin – Imóveis e Investimentos, Lda.

With regard to the construction process adopted, the chosen solution could not have been more efficient. In order to get around the proximity to the Tagus River, a system of special foundations was developed through the execution of a curtain of piles and micro piles, which made it possible to lower the water table and dig at great depths. At a structural level, the building is composed of a mixed structure of reinforced concrete and metal profiles, which instantly makes it an interesting work from a technical point of view and an art piece from an architectural point of view. The main highlight is the space for the esplanade, as it is a metal structure with about 8 meters cantilevered over the water, which will certainly impress future visitors.

The restaurant has a useful area of ​​915 m2 divided into two floors. Floor 0 is where all the magic happens, as in addition to being the space where the dining room and terrace are located with a privileged view of the horizon and the new cruise terminal, we have a large and sophisticated kitchen that will certainly provide incredible live cooking experiences. As it was already expected, a unique and refined space overlooking the Tagus River would have to count with the presence of an internationally renowned chef. Thus, associated with this great engineering project is the star chef Miguel Rocha Vieira, who already has 3 Michelin stars in his career in the world of cuisine.
